THE NOVEMBER EXPERIMENT

For the rest of November, let’s follow Jesus together with radical faith in response to His grace. Prayerfully consider the concrete steps God is calling you to take, and share them with someone who will encourage you and ask how it’s going.

Use the resources below to help you get started and keep going.

OPEN THE NOVEMBER EXPERIMENT GUIDE

1. Pray for Our Neighbors and the Nations

Our Neighbors

Who has God already placed around you? Use the Ordinary Missionary Map to identify friends, relatives, acquaintances, neighbors, coworkers, and classmates who need Jesus. Pray for them by name, prayer walk where you live, and ask God for opportunities to share the gospel.

THE “ORDINARY MISSIONARY MAP”

The Nations

Choose an unreached people group through Joshua Project and commit to praying for them throughout November. Learn about their lives and needs. Pray for people to know Jesus, for workers to be sent, and for churches to be established.

2. Read God’s Word

Make a specific plan for when and what you will read. Use the BREAD tool to slow down, engage the Scriptures, and respond to what God is saying. Ask Him to help you hear, trust, and obey His Word.

3. Give Sacrificially

Ask God what you can give up so you can give generously toward a specific need or gospel purpose. Consider how your spending can make room for generosity, and talk about your next step with someone who knows you.

4. Go Beyond Your Routine

Make time to serve, build a relationship, or share the gospel with someone outside your normal routine. Start by asking: Where could I go, whom could I serve, and how could I make the hope of Jesus known?
