What to expect at Summit Church

Summit Church is one unified church with four distinct congregations in various geographical locations spread throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. Each campus has live teaching, worship, and ministry staff while sharing the same mission, vision, values, budget, elder board, and full-time staff team among all four congregations.

Our gatherings are casual (come as you are) and are made up of Bible-based teaching with thoughtful, gospel-centered worship, all in what we hope is a welcoming environment.

TEACHING

Because the word of God is truth, it is the foundation on which we build our lives. At every gathering, we will teach from the Bible, usually walking through a book of the Bible, and determine ways in which we can apply its timeless truths to our lives.

WORSHIP

We worship God every week, singing together and making a joyful noise that makes much of Jesus and the Gospel. We also worship God through giving financially back to Him and the mission He has called us to in reaching every man, woman, and child for the sake of the Gospel.  Worship helps prepare us to hear the truth of the Word of God and is a tangible way for us to declare truths about God, back to God.

SUMMIT KIDS

Our Summit Kids ministry is of the utmost importance to us here at Summit Church. It’s the desire of our staff and exceptional volunteers to partner with parents to teach children how Jesus Christ is the hero of the entire story of the Bible, and the One who changes all of life. WHEN YOU VISIT

When you arrive at one of our campuses, a member of our hospitality team will greet you and help answer any questions you may have. If you have children, they will be happy to direct you to our Summit Kids check-in station. Once there, our friendly check-in staff will help you register your child and assign your child to an age-appropriate class. While you are worshipping, your child will be in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where he or she will engage in fun activities and learn about how the entire Bible points to Jesus.
