Missional Community Core Class
Wednesdays, October 21–November 18 • 6:30–8:00 PM
Join us for five weeks of exploring what Scripture teaches about missional community—and what it looks like to live that out in the everyday places God has put us. We’ll explore the work of the Spirit, our role in God’s mission and in community, how God calls us to use every part of our lives for His mission, and how we can intentionally invite others into life with Jesus.

Membership Connect
Membership Connect is on Sunday, October 25 at 11:00 am in the Green Room. This meeting is for anyone who is interested in becoming a covenant member of Summit Church.
Join a Disciple Group
Disciple Groups are same-gender groups of 3–5 who meet every other week throughout the school year. Groups work through a challenging curriculum designed to help you better understand, articulate, and share the Gospel. Interested? Sign up
New Group formed for Mid-40’s & older
Afterburners, a new group for mid-40’s & older, will be meeting on Sunday, October 18 after the 2nd service to learn more about the vision for the group. Consider attending the 2nd service and then staying for the meeting. After the meeting, those interested are invited out for brunch or coffee to begin connecting.
Serve with Summit Kids
Sunday volunteers needed! With childcare now available for babies and toddlers on Family Worship Sundays, Summit Kids needs additional volunteers. Serve at the 9:00 AM service; Nov. 29 • Jan. 31 • May 30 • Aug. 29

Pastor Scavenger Hunt
Summit Kids is doing a “Pastor Scavenger Hunt” throughout the month of October. Information and instructions can be picked up at the Summit Kids desk for families whose children (preschool-upper elementary) would like to participate. The hunt runs Oct 4-25 and can be turned into Miss Jenn or Miss Krista for a prize.
Summit Students
Summit Students does not meet this Wednesday, October 7.
Summit Students Fall Retreat is October 9-10. This year’s retreat will focus on the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. Students will spend time learning about and reflecting on the Helper Jesus left us so that we would never have to be alone.

Pray for the O’Malleys
Garrick and Michelle O’Malley and their family arrived home yesterday from Colombia as they were there adopting their daughter. Please pray as they adjust to being home from such a momentous trip and and are now a family of 7.
