1. How does the reality that “God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus” encourage you & challenge you at the same time? How often do you remind yourself of this truth?
2. Why is it important to understand that “He chose us?”
3. Paul states that God chose us to be holy & blameless in His sight. Is your faith leading to growth? Where is God, in His grace & love, continuing to transform you to be more like Christ?
4. How is the thought of God “adopting” us into His family beautifully & gloriously overwhelming to you?
5. Our adoption into God’s family was at Christ’s expense. When’s the last time you took time to thank Him for willingly laying down His life on your behalf?
6. In Christ we are forgiven, we are given the power to live life now for His glory & fame and we are given the hope of one day being made completely whole in His presence? Which of those realities do most frequently thank Him for? Take time this week to thank Him for each of those promises & be motivated to keep following Him.
7. God is using us, those who have been adopted into His family through Christ, to be His witnesses to both the heavenly realms & a watching world. Who are you seeking to share & show His beautiful message of reconciliation with right now in your life?
