“SUMMIT CHURCH EXISTS TO GIVE EVERY MAN, WOMAN AND CHILD THE REPEATED OPPORTUNITY TO SEE, HEAR AND RESPOND TO THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST WITHOUT THEM HAVING TO COME OR GO ANYWHERE.”

From Genesis to Revelation the Bible tells a story of a God who is on mission reconciling the world to Himself. The work of reconciliation was perfected in the person & work of Jesus Christ for all who have begun a relationship with Him. We believe that Jesus and the Gospel transform all of life, and we long to continue to discover that for ourselves and reveal that to others. We believe God's heart is infinitely loving and His desire is to offer His gift of life in His Son to everyone. We also believe, based on Scripture, that His primary vehicle for taking that message to the world is through His body, the Church. This has not and will never be just about planting a church or churches. This mission is about reaching a city and region with the life transforming Gospel. When you begin to ask "How do you reach a city for Jesus?” the answer has to come from His Word where we see the vehicle that God has put in place is the Church. That is why we are a church that plants churches, we know the church is God's vehicle to accomplish His mission and it is also why we will be committed to partnering with existing churches around the Upstate as well.
