We are planting another Summit Church in Cherrydale! Please join us in praying for that area, the new church, the leadership needed for it and the people that God is calling us to in that part of the city. We are excited about the opportunities that await us in that geography and the potential of Jesus and the Gospel to transform the area for God's glory & fame! Services begin for Summit Cherrydale this Sunday night January 10th at 5:30 PM and will be located at Marathon Church (1301 Rutherford Rd., Greenville 29609).
At Summit, we believe God is a God on mission. We believe throughout the course of history He has been on a mission of redeeming a people to Himself, that is the story of the Bible. The beauty of His story of redemption is captured wholly in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus is supremely true and better than any other attempt to satisfy the deepest longings of the human heart. An encounter with the Jesus of the Bible can transform the whole person. Therefore we desire to give every man, woman and child in the Upstate the repeated opportunity to see, hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ without them coming or going anywhere. We desire to be a church that exists for the sake of others and God's glory and fame!
